Rain

Rain started as an experiment – a story without text that flows freely without any direction, with the protagonist as the only cohesive element.

Every step taken in the continuity of Rain was defined by the mean-time inspiration while still maintaining coherence along the journey.

Because the story went in directions that weren’t anticipated, some unexpected patterns started emerging.

There isn’t any quest in Rain, no goal, nor even a wish of getting stronger through the adventure. It’s perpetual wandering. Just child steps through a dreamy world with the only objective of keeping walking.

This innate behaviour is what helps the protagonist to overcome all kinds of adversities, and eventually, helps him unravel the greatest mystery – the purpose of his trip.

The idea behind Rain is for the viewer to create their own interpretation of the story and project themselves as the silent, nameless child.
